UFC 95

Alright who is it going to be... Stevenson or Sanchez? Also how will Gouveia and Koscheck end up in there respected fights. Personally I think Sanchez is going to walk through Stevenson. Guoveia is a hit or miss type of fighter who has been hitting lately but won't be a big surprise if he misses. Dana White seems so be throwing up a neebie for Koscheck, Paulo Thiago. Thiago has a 10-0 record with this being his first fight in the UFC, but I guess you got to start somewhere.

MMA Valentine

Well there is not a lot going on this week except the normal fall out from the previous UFC between Penn and GSP. The real question I would like to ask is: Will the Affliction Fight League ever surpass or at least equal the popularity of the UFC? Frankly I hope so. They already feature everyones favorite fighters, O and a little someone named Fedor. Now I'm not worried about the technicalities like ring vs. octagon although if it was a taken off shore with rules taken from the Glorious PRIDE federation I think there would be something there. The fact remains that people like to see new fighters going up against their favorite guy. Fights between the same old people over and over again is like taking home the same girl every week from the club... boooorrrrinnnggg. This seems to be what the AFL is going to be... except for Fedor. Hopefully, Dana White and Zuffa will pull their pompus heads out of their ass at cater to this special case of a no contract fighter. I think everyone, fighters included, would like to see the sport evolve into the money making machine the pro boxing is. MMA atheletes, yess atheletes not fighters, deserve it and so do the fans.
